On the way back to Toulon, we spent some hours in Paris and I was able to meet an ex employer. I love her but she is often critizining my life's choices, so last time she mentioned my age as a way of expressing disapproval I mentioned it was my life to live. Nevertheless, I understand people's perspective on life runs a path device by the self and so other's path often seems a bit obscured and simply wrong. This is life and well we all get to live our version of it!
Returning to Toulon was bitter sweet as I really didn't have a place to stay but Lilly was awaiting me. The former was solved within a day and by afternoon I was moved in to a studio in Le Mourillon. The cool neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and every day shops. It was perfect! I had my own place and I didn't have to deal with the drama of others. I was to spend two weeks there and then to Italy to meet my friend in the Genovese Riviera just 20 minutes from the French border. At the end of the first week while everyone left to a wedding outside of town, I decided to stay and spend some time embracing the town and really trying to unleash from the others and their perspective on life here. I find that exploring a town/city alone has so many rewards, while traveling with others has a sense of comfort that disables the exploritory button.
