rain dance

So I found an attractive shop keeper to visit whenever I was bored, it gave me focus when I had nothing to do and the notion on familiarity. It was one of those days that I was making my 2nd trip because with my nerves I had totally forgetten my money. So I decided I would come later in the evening with Lilly, have a glass of wine, maybe dinner and well pass the time overlooking the sea. I thought taking Lilly to the dog park would be nice as well, since she had had no interaction with other dogs. This park as two parts as enter the closest to me and there was a Rotwiller old and not friendly and his mate a small dog that seemed blind as it could not get to Lilly for the usual sniff. It seemed boring and in the adjecent park there was two other dogs playing, so I venture to the other side. There are two guys and one of them approaches the gate and speaks to me in french, I go for my usualy "Je ne parle pas francaise" and so he commences to say his English is not great. So I enter the park and I feel a bit akward the other guy doesn't speak English either and so I'm forced to speak French. Great! This is the best way, as all my friends are fluent in English I don't get to practice my French.

Its a bit blurry but I sit next to the 2nd guy, I noticed he has nice arms and equally enchanting smile and might be military but the hair crop and simple wardrobe. We try to speak but his English is as great as my French, non-existent. Questions fly and he proceeds to ask me out....I'm a bit shocked, he asks for my sign and if I"m single...okay, I hardly ever get these questions that I am usually the one asking! I"m a bit taken a back and he really wants me to know the other guy has a girlfriend...o k a y?!?!? I'm not used to this, but I think he likes me....I thought we might not have anything in common but hey I have a date and I get to practice french and hell does arms are kinda nice. His energy was so happy and peaceful as well so it seemed like a no brainer. On the way home, I post on fb "i have a date! I'm doing the rain dance...". It was exciting to have a date after a long drought of chivalry and romance.

He texts the next day and we decide to meet at the beach same place we met. I get there early as always and he is late. I try not to focus on it because I often see it as a sign of disinterest. Nevertheless, he was 5 minutes late and super apologetic. We sit at a near by place and order drinks. Our energies are synergistic, weird we can barely speak to one another but I think I like him. We smile, laugh and just have the most peaceful date. As the conversation veers off into kids, etc he takes his cue to close the tab and move the party elsewhere. As we walk the beach, he types something in this Iphone which as been our mode of coummunication as our translation brains are off. I think I can guess what he is typing by his nervous energy and so a few minutes later he says " I want to kiss you.". Well I haven't done that in a while and well yes!.....and so it commence a whirlwind love affair that of novels.
